Did anyone here ever serve at the Wildflecken Training Area (WTA) in West Germany? A lot of stories are told about that place & all the troopers who trained there. There's a website for Wildflecken Veterans at http://www.eliteimpressions.net
The webmaster was stationed on that mountain for 33(!) months (3/50 Inf & 2/15 Inf, 3rd ID) during the '60's . The site has lots of Cold War information, current events & photos taken at WTA.
