At War With The System

Nary a person alive has not (at one time or another), found themselves at war with the system! As a matter of fact, a great deal of what transpires in life is often helter-skelter. But even at that, we often find ourselves having to travel all around our elbows to get to our thumbs! In short - “Life Is Seldom a Cake-Walk!”

When however, things are exacerbated by the very same system that was put into place to alleviate some of these problems, or when those who are in charge become more title than function, or even when a position of trust is abused or misused, who then do you go to in order to seek justice or even equity?

Also, have you ever encountered a situation (or a person) in a position of power who, right from the start, attempts to impress you with their self-perceived grandeur, or their accoutrements of authority? “WE ALL HAVE - AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER - NOW HAVEN’T WE!”

When however, those who are placed in charge can no longer distinguish between duty and arrogance, then there is nothing left for them to aspire to but elected office itself? It’s either that, or become a king or queen, and we all know that here within “The United States of America”, there is no room for royalty – “Not Yet In Any Event?”
