I've pass that monument several times and took the tour. Impressive looking flat top. I dont' see any numbers on her deck did they quick doing that?

Kinda tough to see the bow, but when she was commissioned she wore bow numbers. Some times we'd just do an outline of the numbers most other times they were solid.

You can see the Bow Numbers in one of the photos.
Now she is on the Wrong Coast, they tend not to be as worldly as the Right Coast Carrier Guys, this could explain the bow numbers!

with her number CVN-76 what better a representation of the USA then the USS Reagan .Great Photo too
