It's been awhile since old Zoomie came back to the saloon, where friends abound, and feelings show...

At an AA confab in Joplin some months ago I reported on this Warriors Saloon, and what it meant to me to be amongst my own... just as I was that evening, at those tables, filled with emotion (if not love and affection, since I got my ass kicked about every three seconds [or somebody would TRY]!)

What I was trying to talk about with those meatheads is that there is another special place they could think of going if they might have something to say, or just want to consider another person's ideas... and it was the Warrior's Saloon.

Putting the two words together carries a certain unique tenderness, if I may say so.

Smile thanks everyone

to everyone who has prayed for me, helped my mother nang, through her hard time while i was away, and to everyone who has given me a really warm welcome here at the patriot files, thank you! And to all the veterans and active military members...............SALUTE............. Thank you for you service. Anyhoo, here is a little bit about me, I am on reserve duty right now. I exited from the active army in October of 03. I currently live near Detroit, with my fiance in our little humble abode. Due to marry in June(26th) and contemplating re-enlistment. So if you guys have any questions about active duty, maybe my overseas duty or my almost attempt at an Iraqi trip, feel free to ask. Well thanks again to all of you and take care. Eleven B!

Default new news???

bluehawk,

The last thing i remember hearing is that they were or are going to take a big number of soldiers in Iraq on a little three hour tour to the talibans turf. I am pretty sure that was either a rumor or an unproven story. but if i do hear anything i will for sure let you all know, and thanks for the wedding props!

What happened? I go off to Mongolia and ya all close the bar? Airag (aka Khuumis) all around! Also lots and lots and lots of vodka
One thing I did really learn well was how to drink *alot* of vodka.
Heres the tradition..three BIG shots for each new person you meet.
1 2 3!
