Walther MKb.42 assault rifle
Just wanted to start a thread about Walthers version of the MKb.42 assault rifle, If anyone is up for discussing about it.

Well this interesting Cutaway. I'd never given the MKb.42 assault rifle much consideration, had always focused on the StG-44 and its variants. Any info on how they compared? I was under the impression that the barrel of the StG-44 was prone to bending, but was otherwise fine in service; as far as I know, the MKb.42 was never allowed to go past prototype phase, so there would be no battle record of its performance.
