So far.......so good.

Just got back from the doctors office and Jackies' eye pressure is holding steady. It's a little on the low side, which is much better than where it was at prior to the surgery. But the doc says it's not so low to be very worried about as long as it holds steady.

We still have to go into the docs' office every afternoon until at least next Thursday so they can be sure the pressure does not shoot back up.

Jackies still having some difficulty with the pain, but the doctor has her on oxcycodone and she stays pretty much out of it most of the time. She would have slept for hours and hours last night if I didn't have to wake her every four hours to take her eye drops (three different kind).

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for the prayers you all have been so kind to send Up to the Big Fellow.

She and I are extremely fortunate to have folks like you ALL that care enough to do what you have done.

I'll keep everyone posted on her condition.

Gimpy - sorry to hear about your wifes issues. Of course I will be thinking of you both during this ordeal. I'm sure the Lord will hear us all in her behalf.

Just wanted to give everyone the latest update on Jackies' condition.

We just returned from the docors office and her eye pressure is still holding at acceptable levels. This latest device (drain) they put into her eye seems to be working real well. She does not have to go back to the doctors until Thursday for another check. If at that time it is still OK, we can wait a week before returning to check it again.

I also want to thank every one of you fine folks who have sent out prayers for her.

Sorry I haven't seen this but I was dealing with some household problems. I am glad to hear that Jackie is doing better and hope she continues to improve. Maybe you could get to psyco mtn for this november.
