When was your first time?

Do you remember the first time you got drunk, around what age? Seeing if anything ever really changes.

15, a friends going away party. Chilli and beer, a bad combo when over done, and I did over do it.

14,mabe 15.My buddy was an alter boy and liberated from the Catholic church 1 gallon of the red sacraficial wine.It was a chilly October night and we went out behind the local teen hangout and chug-a-lugged the whole damn thing.When we went back inside the heat got to me and I was zonko.Next thing I remember was Russle Millholland telling me I had better not puke in his car-1952 yellow Ford conv...I didn`t heave in his car,but sure made one hella mess all over that yellow.I bet it took the paint off.

I grew up in a logging camp 35 miles from the nearest town we used to collect pop bottles for 2 cents and beer bottles for a penny each well one hot summer day tommy cleveland andI couldn't find any empty bottles laying around but we did find a couple half racks in the bunk house and being good boys we new not to waste it by dumping it out so we drank about a half rack before we got gut busting sick. I think I was about 10 or 11 at the time. P.S. In those days we didn't have child abuse or I would have had some the loggers who lived in the bunkhouse were pissed off and spanked both of us the marched us home to our dads where the real spankings took place. yup thank god there was no child abuse in those days or I could of really been in trouble.

As a kid growing up we spent a lot of Sundays at my grandparents home, with there 6 sons and 2 daughters who all drank. By age seven I was always happy to "get more beer" a would often take "sips", but didn't catch much of a buzz.

Just after my 16th birthday a friend and I bought a 6 pack of Colt 45 and a pint of Southern Comfort. Had two of the beers and pretty much all of the S.C. To this day if I walk into a tavern and the guy next to me orders a Southern Comfort I have to move. The smell makes me sick.

I was 18 the first time I got drunk. For some reason it didn't stop until October 30, 1987. Seem to like being sober more than being drunk.

Group of friends went camping. (we were 14 at the time) I decided to fill the canteen with a mixture of what ever my father had in his liquor cabinet. We all got totally wasted. One of my friends decided to cook a quart size can of beans. In his drunk'n stupor, he forgot to open the can. The can exploded and we had to explain to our parents what these little bean size burn marks were on our face (looked like a severe case on acne)

Christmas 1962. I was 12 years old. The family had gathered at my Uncle Manny's house to celebrate the holiday. He was a great guy, full of fun. It was late in the evening and he was well on his way to producing a dandy hangover when he saw me drinking a ginger ale. He took a drink of it, emptying half the glass, told me it was a boring thing to drink, then poured in a generous portion of Seagram's 7, filling it back up. He also handed me the lastest issue of Playboy. The last thing I (vaguely) remember was my Uncle Al and my Dad carrying me out to the car. I was VERY glad to get home 'cause I staggered to the bathroom and vomited everything I had eaten since I was 5!

To paraphrase W.C. Fields, "It was my uncle who drove me to drink...and I never had the decency to thank him!"

15. At a classmates house with a few friends. Pizza and spearmint schnapps. Another very bad combo that came back up. To this day anything spearmint turns my stomach.

15 , down the shore sitting on the beach at night drinking beer......... we got arrested. Much to the cops glee my Dad beat the $$hit out of me in that cell !
