I got one.......What Western hit the tubes in the late 50s and ran for a few years that co-starred Peter Brown ?
Give you another hint. The main character in this Western was in Clint Eastwood's move "Pale Rider".

Ron,

I don't actually KNOW the answer to your trivia question, but I'll make an educated guess...

A six shooter with a shotgun in the center...that sounds like a LeMat revolver.

That revolver was used primarily by the Confederates in the Civil War, and was carried mostly by Confederate Officers.

So...

Confederate Officer + TV Series = Major John Singleton Mosby = Tod Andrews in The Gray Ghost .

Right? :cd:

An educated guess would be "Have Gun Will Travel". With Johnny Western as "Steve". The theme song was co-written and performed by John. The show ran from 1957-1963.

What about "Wanted: Dead or Alive" starring the coolest actor who ever lived, Steve McQueen.

QM...........Correct answer is "A Man Called Shenandoah" starring Robert Horton. Didn't last but one season. Was about a Union Officer who got mugged and lost his memory and went from town to town trying to find people who remembers who he is.
Horton had a part on Wagon Train playing the part of the wagon train scout and decided to venture on his own like many other actors have done and discovered there wasn't much acting work available for them as they thought.
Remember Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray ? They left Dallas believing all sorts of roles was waiting for them and all they was able to find was bit parts.

Revdoc,

Wanted Dead or Alive was just about my brothers and my favorite, and Steve McQueen was one of my favorite actors. Who could forget his outstanding performance in.......THE BLOB! I think he was billed as Steven McQueen in that one. Just watched Cincinnati Kid the other day with Edward G Robinson. What a great film!
