Contradict & Conflict - A Very Pertinent Question
4-20-2021
Why is it exactly, that mankind is usually predisposed to contradict and to conflict? And why, for that matter, can he not merely get along and cohabitate? Is it something inherent within “Our Nature” that prohibits us from seeking common ground, or are we just another species that is doomed to eventually wipe itself out? And for that matter, is not life so short, and breathe so sweet, that we still, after all of these many eons of turbulent existence, still find it imperative to try to wipe away all record of our ever being – “What Fools - We Mere Mortals Continue To Be!” So here we are, and to this point in time we have continued to regress in our ongoing efforts to externalize our very own stupidity! And yet, factions of our own race, have still found it essential to attempt to challenge even the fates themselves to a bloody duel to the death of our species – “Why Is That Exactly?!” Hardcore

HC - I currently would state that its the beast within the human that pulls the strings of mankinds performance in our world today .
Re: https://io9.gizmodo.com/think-twice-...umanit-5962243 Words are what they mean right now, and over the past forty years "humanity" has become more acceptable than "mankind" if you want to refer to all human beings, both male and female. Using etymology to govern usage is known as the "etymological fallacy." Usage is governed by, you guessed it, use, not the origin of the word. The origin, of course, influences how a word is used in that it provides the starting point, but meanings shift over time, and lexicographers come up with their definitions by surveying how people actually use the words, not by studying the etymology. In other words, it is unreasonable to determine today's usage based on how the language was used a thousand years ago. If it were reasonable, we'd still be using "silly" to mean "blessed, fortunate" and "awful" to mean "inspiring wonder.". . . If people today perceive it as sexist, it is sexist, regardless of how it was used in ages past. - As for world harmony - How do you get peace and harmony in the world? So, back to those few specific steps you can take to start creating more peace and harmony in your life now: 1. Take time for just you every day. Make it a requirement. ... 2. Live life more deliberately in the moment. Stop analyzing your past and worrying about your future. ... 3. Make choices and decisions that feel good. HC - We must must first achieve our own personal harmony. In order to accomplish world harmony: The reason peace is absent from some parts of the world is because of racial prejudice or because of hatred built on the basis of caste, colour, creed or sex. Peace is missing in international relations because there is prejudice among nations built on difference in their economic or political systems. - Without this type of understanding - there "will be no world harmony" - maybe its genetics or better yet - its the leadership in the world - that sets the first stone - and all others must fall in line with their stone. Today our world is facing destruction rather than seeking a world at peace. - Boats
