Retroactive Humanity

After watching a great deal of news footage from the recent 7.1 magnitude Earthquake in Mexico, I noted that many of their buildings were but cracker boxes! And with the death toll continuing to climb there, I can not help but wonder why people continue to place themselves in harm’s way by building in such a shoddy fashion, and this right atop a former lake?

But then, mankind has usually been retroactive much of the time, not doing something about many of its problems until it is too damned late, just as we may have done in the past with “North Korea!”

“Hot rhetoric and bombastic speeches after all, are all well and good, but unless an enemy (any enemy) understands that we mean just what we are saying, then it all becomes academic, does it not?”

And for the record, I have no doubt within my own mind that “President Donald J. Trump” means exactly what he is saying! And after all is said and done, this is not a Democrat or a Republican thing, but rather – “IT IS OUR AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE!”
