Freshman Academy
The Lakenheath High School will be hosting a “Freshman Academy” for all incoming 9th grade students on Thursday, 26 August from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in an effort to make students more successful and to build a solid education foundation in high school. Registration will take place from 8:30 – 9 a.m. The day will focus on time management, study skills, note taking, class leaderships, academic and athletic eligibility and other topics related to school success. Students will also be given in-depth tours and their schedule for the upcoming school year. Lunch will be provided by the Roundtable Booster Club. New Student Orientation
The Lakenheath High School will be holding a New Student Orientation for students in grades 10 – 12, on Friday, 27 August from 9 – 11 a.m., in an effort to make students more successful and to build a solid educational foundation in high school. The morning orientation will discuss topics related to school success and the student handbook. Students will also be given in-depth tours and their schedule for their schedule for the upcoming school year. The orientation will be held in the Lakenheath High School auditorium.
