The Longest War: T/Sgt Richard M. Cole Jr

From the Webmaster:

EXCERPT: "This page is dedicated to T/SGT. RICHARD MILTON COLE , JR.
WHO WAS SHOT DOWN ON JUNE 16, 1972 IN A C-130 AIRCRAFT OVER LAOS.
WHICH THE NEXT DAY WAS CHANGED TO READ,"SOUTH VIETNAM". RICHARD ONLY
FLEW MISSIONS OVER LAOS AND CAMBODIA, WHICH THE US WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO
BE DOING, AND SO THIS ACTUAL CRASH SITE AND SHOOTDOWN WAS COVERED UP
BY THE US, EVEN TO THE FAMILIES OF THE CREW MEMBERS INVOLVED. THERE
WERE THREE SURVIVORS OF THE CRASH WHO SAW ANOTHER PARACHUTIST
SUCCESSFULLY DEPLOY FROM THE AIRCRAFT AT A DISTANCE FAR FROM THE
ACTUAL CRASHSITE...."
