His house is up the hill from the river quite a bit.
He doesn't have any trees near his house.

Greeting from the War zone. Sum dumb blond running for president called in a B-52 strike on our little valley. boy those AF boys did a job on us. Really now its been a little rough here. saturday the first of december we had 5 inchs of snow on the ground then that night it started to rain and rain it did 36 hours straight and the river flooded up to my gas tank again but thats not what did the damage. the ground was saturated with water and the winds hit thats during the 36 hours of rain I was talking about winds reached 120 mph and sustained for 15 hours. sounded like 100 B-52's taking off over your head all at once. we just got our electricity back thursday night at 10:50 pm it was out 5 days we had to rought it using Dry ice in the freezers to save our food. we were without water so we drank store bought water and ate out a few times. found a cool way to bath we used the water out of the hot tub one bucket to wet down and a couple to wash off. its kind of nice not having real close neighbors just stand in the yard and take a shower. thanks for all for thinking of us god bless our family and all we had was an inconvienance. the neighbors weren't so lucky. God bless our local PUD they have been working around the clock. and thanks bern and david for the pictures and report. Ps our gas firplace kept us nice and warm all the time life is Good.

So glad to see you and Jo made it. We were all a bit concerned. Sounds like a danm hurricane on top of a flood. Not a good combo. Don't tell me....you ate at the Red Lobster during this, didn't you?
