Larry I know where your at brother i found it harder to bury my dogs then my parents. the death of a canine compaion is the hardest thing to get over because they give un conditional love and ask so little in return. my prayers are with you my friend

You've got to remember all God's creatures are in his hands. Lost several pets over the years and its a loss that tears at the heart.
Our pets live on in us like those we want to remember. I'm sure they are better off then suffering like most humans just before the big event. I regret your circumstances and feel your pain. But we must do whats in the best interest of the animal when we can. Love and comfort will ease his pain.

Brother 11C she is pretty dog, but have to agree with other guys, I wouldn't want to have her live in pain. It sure is hard to let go of something you love. Just remember all the fond memories with her. Listen to the Vet and think what is best for your dog. I'm sorry you have to face loss again.

I really miss Sable. She was always there when I felt the worst and would curl up by me to sleep or just offer her paw..looks like it will be sometime before I can get another Sheltie because of my Mom's situation. I have found quite a few folks who have Shelties, including one of my lawyers, a lady at the storage units, my Vet Center counselor, and several other folks...
