The Fires in California

Just got an email and some pics from a lady I used to work with who now lives in Yorba Linda.

Here is what she had to say:


"These are shots taken from our neighbors house 4 doors down. Definitely
shows how lucky we were, and how amazing the fire fighters are. An
interesting note.....the flag up behind our house was untouched. If you go
up there now, which we did this morning, it appears the fire fighters not
only stood firm to save our homes, but also wanted the flag to stand. The
burn lines were just on the other side of it (just feet away) and then went in closer
to the homes. Those guys and gals are heroes in every sense!!! We are very
grateful for their service!"
