Assistance: Gulf War veterans, including those who served in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Iraqi Freedom, who need assistance in locating their nearest VA Medical Center or who have general health questions regarding Gulf service may call the VA Gulf War Veterans Information Helpline: 1-800-PGW-VETS toll-free.

Benefits: VA offers a wide range of benefits including two disability programs (compensation & pension) that pay monthly benefits to veterans with service-connected disabilities. Home loan guaranties, life insurance, education and training, vocational rehabilitation, and burial and survivor benefits are also available.
