Since only a "few thousands veterans were exposed to infections..." you might want to seek a better source of your primary care. Doc 2-47, your story is yet another reminder of why I go to a civilian doctor, when necessary.

I have had 2 done ( private doctors ), and during the first one I was able to watch it, on the tv. During the second one I was out, and they removed 3 polyps. The worst part was the bottle of stuff u have to take to clean u out.

I just got back from my colonoscopy. Before we started Dr McGowan noticed my wife Shirley sitting there. He said, "I remember you, you're the suppository nurse. You are the one that gave me mess of zuccini and told me to take these suppositories! And now I have your husband under my power!" Everyone but me had a good laugh and then they took me in the procedure room, gave me the happy medicine and I woke up dreaming of rainbow Pepsis. Everything is fine except that inflation they did to my colon. I have reville down pat and am working on tooting taps for when I do have something to bury at sea in the commode. Excuse me now, I am going to take another nap. Happy, happy.

Thanks SO much for sharing, guys. I am now at aprox. 12 on the 1-10 pucker factor chart. Hulk Hogan couldn't pound a BB up my ass with a balpeen hammer. They gonna have to WORK to get the job done.
