Default Disloyal Veterans Site.

A few days ago, one of the guys I know at Paratrooper.net asked me to take a look at a site called vair.org. Veterans Against the Iraq War. I took a look, as you should too, and found a bunch of political activists who seem to be more than just a bit anti-Republican. They claim to be democrats but most of their catch phrases seem to be straight out of the Communist Manefesto. With one or two exceptions, I don't think that any of them are veterans either. The one who claims to be a former Marine who went to SF has pretty well had his military chronology dissected by the guys at SOCNET as he has claimed membership in a specific unit that was disbanced before the period he claims to have been in it. Take a look at it. It's a sobering thought that people like this are still with us. I've thrown a few curve balls and hand grenades at them, see if you can figure out what my call sign is.

VAIW

It shouldn't be too hard to figure out my handle, it's the same!
I have seen a couple guys on that site that must be from this one, but the handles are different.

Here's another liberal site that I sometimes play in.
It's a British site.

Talking "Q" Clearance

I had a "Secret Clearance" when working for NASA as a kid working a summer job at NASA.

Never heard of a "Q" clearance.

Maybe Q stands for Quaint, Quack ?

Keith

You won't see me over there. Its a waste of time. Too many real fruitcakes. The internet has really opened it up to nuts.

I understood there was a confidential, secret, top secret and various levels within top secret.

Just curious why would DOE use a different classification than everyone else?

Probably so as not to scare people any more than the word nuclear already does. Most employees in the industry have the minimum.

0 (zero) clearance used to be for access only. No FBI check, only backround.

L clearance for day to day classified work. FBI check required.

Q clearance for higher level clearance. FBI check and few people need or get this level of clearance.

Top Secret is rumored to be necessary above that level but I never had the need to know if anyone I know has or needed that level of clearance.

I remember getting a secret clearance only because the area I had to go through was secret. Not that I knew or wanted to know what was going on I just had to though one hatch to another and there was no other way.
