On Sept. 15-16, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will travel to Minneapolis to meet with diverse communities and local law enforcement during a civil rights and civil liberties roundtable. He will also discuss the Department’s ongoing efforts to expand partnerships with community organizations and state and local officials to safeguard local communities. While in Minneapolis, Deputy Secretary Mayorkas will deliver remarks at an event hosted by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and meet with private sector partners to discuss the Department’s efforts to foster long-term collaboration in the area of cybersecurity.*
