WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced the expansion of the “If You See Something, Say Something™” public awareness campaign partnership with NASCAR, highlighting the Department’s continued efforts to partner with the sports industry to ensure the safety and security of employees, players and fans.

As part of the expansion, DHS unveiled two new public service announcements *featuring NASCAR drivers Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth that will be visible at NASCAR tracks in Illinois, New Hampshire, Delaware, North Carolina, Kansas, Alabama, Virginia, Texas, Arizona and Florida.

The "If You See Something, Say Something™" campaign - originally implemented by New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority and now licensed to DHS for a nationwide campaign - is a simple and effective program to engage the public to identify and report indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime to the proper transportation and law enforcement authorities.

Earlier this year, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson announced the re-launch of the "If You See Something, Say Something™" campaign, including new campaign materials with re-designed imagery and a new website. *DHS will continue to expand the “If You See Something, Say Something™” campaign nationally to raise awareness among America’s businesses, communities, and citizens about how they can remain vigilant and play an active role in keeping the country safe.

Learn more about the “If You See Something, Say Something™” campaign, and see how you can help to keep our nation safe.
