Europeans surely know about chocolate, that is for sure.

I once bought a regular candy bar from a vending machine in the Gare du Nord in Paris... it was the most wonderful milk chocolate I have ever tasted.

Toblerone. I think that's how it's spelled. First bought one in England in 1981. The best tasting chocolate.

It's the wax. the US puts too much into american chocolate where as the Europeans have a more refined technique giving it a smoother and richer flavor. Course i will always be a hershey nut but I'd pass that up for European any day. And German beer and Australian wine. Oh boy those where some good times in the desert. And i love the fact that German beer normally comes in a 40oz size. LOL

I know, it IS the "wax"... what the hell IS that stuff anyhow?

And, why do they put it in our chocolate?

The wax has to be an addiction agent. That's how you end up a "chocoholic." The term "death by chocolate" must come from a serious overdose of it. BTW, could I get an Irish mocha with a splash of Creme de cocoa?
