In the spirit of ?Alice In Wonderland? (Lewis Carroll) - ?OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!?

Who, outside of a turnip, doesn?t know by now that ?The Big Apple? (New York) suddenly became the ?Black Hole of Calcutta? when the grid went sour just recently!

Naturally, there were a few who immediately played the conspiracy card, accusing terrorists, the ?Ghosts Of The Hussein Boys? and even Martians for the massive outage! Hell, everybody knows that the blackout was caused by all of that political hot air flowing out on the ?Shakeyside? (California)! It overloaded the atmosphere and caused the (soon to be famous) ?Blackout Of 2003!!?

At a time when ?Our President is Touting The Noble Spirit of Volunteerism?, people all over this great nation of ours, are reaching out (if but in sympathy) to their brothers and sisters of New York! The Big Apple, after all, has known it?s share of adversity, but these people are as tough as they come! But what (pray tell) led up to this massive outage, why was it not circumvented, and who (if anybody) dropped the ball (or was that the ?APPLE?)?

With the nation in a heightened state of alert, and a ?Few Foreign Freaks? still out to do us dirt, every glitch in the system will be perceived by some as a prelude to invasion. Hell, back on 7 December 1941, some erroneous reports even had the ?Imperial Japanese? landing military forces at Pearl Harbor shortly after the sneak attack upon the ?Seventh Fleet? and surrounding turf!? But as always, the people of the ?Good Old U. S. of A.? pulled together and weathered the tempest, as we shall do again, during these troublesome times!

Besides, who would dare to mess around with a nation that has the likes of George Bush, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gray Davis, Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk? My only question is: ?Where in the hell were these super heroes during the recent New York Blackout!??

?Am I being a wise ass - HELL YEAH, why not?! I do live in California you know!!?
