I received a flier in the mail from one of our local Jr colleges. My transcrip is about a mile long, (over 130 credit hrs.) As I was looking hrough this flier, I noticed that there was no age requirement.
So me being the cause of many a rule and regulation change, I asked my 15 year old daughter if she would like to take a college course this summer. She naturally said yes, So we filled out the aplication. I noticed one thing on it though, it asked what your race was, and didn't give a OTHER selection, (I put Off White hear) I told her that just asking the question is racesest. What difference does it make what race you are in going to a college.
After I get done argueing with them about why she can't go because she is 15 ,I will start with the Race thing, I would bet they have a new flier next simester.
