Default New Book " Where we were in Vietnam "

This is a comprehensive guide to the Firebases, Military Installations and Naval Vessels of the Vietnam War 1945-75
by Michael P. Kelley. Recommend it myself. Just out of the hospital with bi-lataterel pneumonia and am on oxygen so have not been coming on line for a while. Wife has been keeping me up on what happening and it seems as if I've missed a lot going on. One guy fire walking and another dressed in an N. V. A. flag.
If anyone wises me to look up a firebase or other installation, P.M. or e-mail me and I will do my best. Please be as specific as you can with requests. Good to be back again.

How about Alpha 3 ( DMZ) between Con Thien and Gio Linh.

Default Gia Le Combat Base

It was a small base between Phu Bi and Hue, a little west of Hwy I. Camp Eagle was built right next to it and in later years after 1969 I think it became part of Eagle. It was a strange little place built in a cemetary. Graves everywhere. When I was there in 1968 it was all Marines, Seabees and our one army company. I always wondered why the marines built it there and what they had used it for. It would get hit often. Maybe charlie didn't like us disturbing his burial grounds or something. thanks Steve
