Food For Thought Again
9-28-2018
They say that there are more things in heaven and earth than man has ever dreamed, but what would happen if much of what we currently perceive to be fact is nothing more than the speculation and fantasy that is bolstered by humanity’s unreasoning demand that it must be forever in control? In short, what would happen if all of these experts were dealing with flawed data, half-complete facts, or the pure B.S. that is often generated by our need to remain in total control of everything that governs our existence? “In short again, what is we are not the living gods that we perceive ourselves to be – could we continue to exist with this possibility in mind?” And for those of you who have substituted often faulty science for a god, I have but a single question for you: “What if you are wrong, even in a portion of your analogy?” Once again – could you live with that potential? Because if even one thing that you now believe to be indisputable fact - is someday proven to be in error, then who is to say that anything at all has any basis in fact, remote though that may presently appear! Finally - “If We Educationally and Environmentally-Based Bastions of Human Perfection” are in error in but a single one of our beliefs and tenets, who then, is to say that there are not other gaps in our reasoning, our logic, or even some of our other (once inviolable), analogies of life? “It’s Something To Ponder, Now Isn’t It?!” Hardcore

HC - nothing in life is perfect - our expectations of such is misleading. Ones conception of perfect is one thing - the reality is another. To say its perfect is a misnomer. I should say all "things" have flaws to be perfect is readily available is unrealistic. The best I could say is we can get near perfect but that's as far as I would go.
There are flaws in many things - people included. The are primarily three “types” of paradoxes (stolen from wikipedia): Self-reference An example is "This statement is false", a form of the liar paradox. The statement is referring to itself. Another example of self-reference is the question of whether the barber shaves himself in the barber paradox. One more example would be "Is the answer to this question 'No'?" Contradiction "This statement is false"; the statement cannot be false and true at the same time. Another example of contradiction is if a man talking to a genie wishes that wishes couldn't come true. This contradicts itself because if the genie grants his wish, he did not grant his wish, and if he refuses to grant his wish, then he did indeed grant his wish, therefore making it impossible to either grant or not grant his wish because his wish contradicts itself. Vicious circularity, or infinite regress "This statement is false"; if the statement is true, then the statement is false, thereby making the statement true. Another example of vicious circularity is the following group of statements: "The following sentence is true." "The previous sentence is false." Boats
