At War With Ourselves

Our government may guide this nation of ours, but it is not always them who shape public opinion, but rather, it is the media itself! One has but to turn on the daily news, after all, to be instructed as to what to think, and how to think it! After all, “The Omnipotent Media” would never steer us wrong or lie to us, now would they?

Now add to this the fact that we also have to contend with a few politicians who sometimes have a vested agenda that has absolutely nothing to do with the public’s interest, the public’s will, or the public’s well-being (opinion), and you begin to wonder if we are indeed – “At War With Ourselves?”

Finally, what about the word “UNITED”, as in “The United States of America”, do these people refuse to understand or accept? For without some sort of “UNITY” (at least in principle) “We Have Definitely Got Some Major Problems Brewing!”

And once again for the record - “When any nation begins to willingly accept the position of a runner-up, then they have all but given up, and the last time that I checked, most of our citizens would never willingly accept being second-best at anything!

“So why then, are there some people (even within our own government), who are still willing (and eager) to play the part of a second fiddle to anyone else in the world today?”
