Locksley is in the hosp.
Locksley was admitted to the VA Hosp. Nashville about a week ago due to an infection. Medical 2G, Rm. 123.
He is apparently stable but says he doesn't expect to be getting out anytime soon-they're thinking about commiting surgery. I'm sure he'd be tickled to hear from anyone who'd care to give him a holler.

infection is a relative term. A kidney transplant is an infection to the receiver. Or a pimple. But a get well note is always a good thing.

You're absolutely correct, Ron. I wasn't specific because I really don't-as yet- know many facts and don't like to guess. I suspect his condititon is pretty serious for the following reason:
He has a history of septisemia (infection that gets into the bloodstream and becomes quite lethal). He has had infections that went into septisemia at least twice that I know of, the last time being a little less than 2 yrs. ago when had a lengthy stay in ICU on a respirator and had to be jump started twice. A VERY near miss. To make things worse he also has history of anti-biotic resistant infection. This time around he says that he's been there over a week, they have been pumping him with IV antibiotics, and that there is no indication that he will be getting out anytime soon. This leads me to suspect another round of the above that they caught a little sooner. Thank you for your concern.
