Inconsequential

(more personal opinions) Inconsequential is not a word that many within government are pleased to have public knowledge of these days, but none the less (and again in my opinion), this word pretty well sums up what far too many within government think of “We the People” these days! Granted, damned near every politician will go out of their way in an effort to convince us all that we are still quintessential in the running of this government – “but are we really?” And for that matter, are many of our representatives genuinely concerned with “What in The Hell the People Themselves Really Think Anyway?” Or are we now merely a necessary evil when it comes to “The Matters of State?” (A Damned Good Question!!) “And for those of you who take great offense at this query - I offer up this rationale” “Have you been paying close attention to the body language (and attitudes) of some of our elected officials these days?” For if you have - then you too just might just have noticed that an air of pomposity and un-questionability - has unceremoniously circumvented and replaced their attitudes of “Public Service”, at least within the vocabulary and the deeds of some of those who wield almost absolute political power these days? Excellent Post
HC - Excellent post - and I agree.
- It's like they are all new puppies once voted into the system - and they follow the leader. - Once initiated and instructed by their head honchoes of each party - their backbone is removed within them - and all their pledged American ideals and concepts when running for office are now secondary - to the Supreme Party Leadership's wishes. - Everyone I've seen run for office as newbie's - seem to be lacking the ability to institute change - as many of their predecessors found out. - Each States Representative's are taught the rules of each Parties System once elected to office - and now see how it operates. Fall in line or be left behind - this seems to be the rule of the day in Congress. All their great ideals and thoughts of change are far out of reach without a majority! - If I'm wrong tell me! Boats
