With as little as a five degree variant in temperature, Mother Earth could be forever turned into a water world! The problem is, that there is barely enough solid ground left to support our race as is, and with an exploding population, we may soon find ourselves having to grow fins and flippers?

With “Global Warming” starting to occupy the scientific mind, we may soon discover that we have progressed beyond the point of no return. And with all of us already squeezed into a terrestrial sardine can as - ”WHAT THEN HUMANITY?”

Of course, we have all heard the vastly differing views of what Global Warming could mean to our tiny planet, and we are by no means the demigods that many envision us to be. We could disappear from existence in a heartbeat, and the cosmos would not even know that we were ever here? Lord knows, we have been trying to exterminate ourselves for centuries. And if it wasn’t religious wars fought with lance and sword, then it was our ever advancing weaponry, until the world, or a power far above our control and understanding, steps in and decides the whole issue for us?

You know. maybe in a way we are gods of sorts? We may just be able to accomplish what a far greater force than ours has failed to do in the past several thousand years. Oblivion, after all, maybe just over the next horizon, and for those of you who still believe that the creation mankind was naught but an accident of nature, our demise may finally be achieved at our own hands!
