The media just displayed a map that was (literally) lit up like a Christmas Tree! Potential flash points of terrorism all over the globe, and especially upon the African Continent, clearly display at least one critical point - The Terrorists Are Targeting Even Their Own People!!

By doing this, and admittedly so, they seek to topple regimes that they feel are Coalition Friendly. They do this with but a single purpose in mind, the absolute domination of humanity. And no matter how you cut it, there really isn?t too much difference between Hitler and those now seeking to rule the ?Middle-Eastern Midway!?

Hitler did it to gain territory, Stalin to capture bodies and minds, Milosovich to crush religious differences, and guys like Hussein and bin Laden, just to destroy through fire and hatred (opinion)!

Getting back to these ?Multiple International Alerts?, although they target far and wide, special emphasis is now being placed on Africa (opinion). Like Atilla, Alexander or the Fuehrer, these people seek to brutally control their own back yards first, all the time sending a message that you are next!

Although the recent ?Shock & Awe Campaign in Iraq? was really something to behold, these tactics have done little to decapitate the (really) bad guys. We find them (?), we bomb them, they die, and then miraculously, they re-appear again elsewhere! In a conflict such as this, I fear that a General (WT SHERMAN) who served some 140 years ago, had it right - ?TOTAL WAR!? Scrap the diplomats, shit can the UN, get shed of part time allies, and if the enemy takes a finger, we take a leg, if he attacks a building, we take out a city!

?Cruel though it may sound, an enemy understands but one thing - a more determined and more powerful enemy!? Unless, of course, we want to be involved in Guerrilla Wars well into the next century? (Good for re-elections, bad for human survival!)

?It can happen you know, especially when political ambition takes precedence over American Blood, common sense, and using our vastly superior technology and resources to put a speedy end to the limitless ambition of international fools!

I'm referring to your: "(Good for re-elections, bad for human survival!)" point. Plus, and against viciously-murderous, sophisticated, well trained and extremely well-motivated (ie. fanatical) enemies,...only fools (political or otherwise) could believe that fighting politically-correct and/or all-caring warfare against such an adversary will have TRULY good results.

The-bottom-line for me, no doubt some others also is: "Winning isn't all that matters - Winning IS EVERYTHING",...especially in the life and death sport called: WARFARE.

So, if victory is truly desired one must be at least as vicious (if not more so) than the enemy, such as the last time in over a-half-century that any conflict was ever resolved, and TOTAL VICTORY achieved. Such conflict being WWII.

If not wanting TOTAL VICTORY keep doing what we're doing, such as micro-managing and placing silly one-sided restrictions on The U.S. Military,...which only benefit our enemies while placing: "America's Finest" at even greater risk.

Besides, since so many believe that none of this current warfare is even necessary and can be resolved by sitting-down and chit-chatting with The Sickos and allowing EVERYONE within Our Borders,...why not do so? I'm sure that French, German, Russian, UN, or Beltway and Hollywood Crowd and/or friendly negotiators or diplomats can resolve all the issues of contention, and even the mass-murdering of defenseless civilians.

Yeah sure,...and I'm The Tooth Fairy. Or as the actor James Woods once stated: "We have to kill more of the bastards, than they can kill of us",...in the context of if one really wants to be A WINNER.

We are kidding ourselfs if we thing our opinions mean anything to anyone outside the 10 people on this sight. Firest of all if your post is to long you'll lose half of the readers, If the subject is to controversial, (icky) you'll lose a couple viewers, then it depends on who you are, weather or not your coments even get a responce so you loose a couple more viewers, In the end you talk to yourself, and by the way, You already Know the answer.

In my opinion, we didn?t make a lot of headway in VN until we got as mean and nasty as the VC/NVA. In this new war, I feel it?s going to be the same deal but perhaps we are a bit wiser now. Simply, the only way terrorists are stopped is by grabbing the rabid weasels by the tail and smashing their heads against the rocks. That is the only known or proven cure and anything short of that is just a huge, dangerous exercise in whacking-off mud turtles. The problem with the situation is that the terrorists absolutely know that we come equipped with a bunch of Hollywood feint heats that would rather talk and die than fight and maybe live. They are counting on it as a matter of fact.
