Default Womans Auxillary Medallion

Womans Auxillary Medallion
of WWII ENGLAND CANADA AUSTRALIA ETC

Someone out there may be able to help with this question.

CAN ANYONE OUT THER KNOW ANY HISTORY ABOUT THIS BADGE
WHAT COUNTRY (origin)
AND WHAT DO THE LETTERS STAND FOR ON THE BOTTOM

N.W.C.R. could mean
North West Central Reserve
Naval War Central Reserve
North West Combined Reserve
North West Coastal Reserve

My belief it could be either
Naval Wrans Civilian Forces
Northern Womans Comfort Force
