Spotting A Fake Green Baret
Is there any question a lamon person can ask someone who's passing him off as a former Green Baret and Vietnam Vet that only legit GBs would know the answer to ? These days with the internet, people can find out just about anything they want, which only makes it easier for wannabees to pass themself off as anything they want.

Go over to Patriot Files 2.0 to the Vietnam thread and there are guys there who have lots of information on that. They also have means to expose wannabes.

The few I know, including a cousin in that suit today, generally have four-word answers to such questions, none of which say very much. Long-winded "back in the day" saga usually means pretender... maybe not always, but usually.

Ask them if they know Ronnie the wannabe. If they do...they are SF.
