Default Austin Texas

The city of Austin is paying people that speak Spanish, $1,800. a year more than English only workers.

And the taxpayers are paying for this program.

How dumb is that?

All employees, because all the jobs will have been taken over by Mexicans.

This move to pay bilingual employees a special bonus is just another example of the Balkanization of America. But coming from the stupid liberals who run Austin, it is not surprising.

Seems to be the right place and maybe history does repeat...

'Santa Anna breached the wall n' he killed them one and all.....',
or something like that.

God help us, it's March 2nd, all over again. To those that are istorically challenged, today in Texas Independence Day. We may have to fight this one all over again.

Ron, you are correct. I did have a thought of Travis and the Alamo defenders plus I reckoned the Alamo was near Austin. But what is happening now in Austin sounds more like the Goliad event that was subsequent to the Alamo.
Therein the Goliad Texicans where were cajoled into laying down their arms, then smacko, Santa Anna murdered every last one of them and in greater numbers than at the Alamo.
