Question All Dressed Up & No Place To Go

4-22-2017

Isn’t it amazing how time flies by, and yet we are in pretty much the same place today as were those kids who, though scared to death, picked up a musket and did battle with the might of “The British Empire” nearly two and a half centuries ago? Or those who, if people don’t change, will be doing the same thing in the defense of liberty – two centuries from now!

The date may change and our enemies may vary, but if we survive the storms of time, there will unfortunately, forever be those who by virtue of geography, upbringing, indoctrination, and the forces of hatred, will seek to destroy that which they do not want to understand?

There is an old saying that claims that “Mankind Is Its Own Worst Enemy”, and all throughout the brief span of human history, he has proven that “The Nature of The Beast” is, and always will be, a malignant force to contend with! “But once again, this is not the way that it should be, nor is it the way that it has to be, it is (unfortunately) just the way that mankind has kept it thus far!”

And yes indeed - humanity is all dressed up, knows the right path in theory, but by his own design, he still has no place to go – “UNFORTUNATE INDEED!”

Woodrow Wilson Quotes
RE: http://www.azquotes.com/author/15808-Woodrow_Wilson

Mr. Trump you should read more history! (Read these words you may learn something).

You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.

Woodrow Wilson

I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world - no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.

Woodrow Wilson

Liberty does not consist in mere declarations of the rights of man. It consists in the translation of those declarations into definite action.

Woodrow Wilson

I have always been among those who believed that the greatest freedom of speech was the greatest safety, because if a man is a fool, the best thing to do is to encourage him to advertise the fact by speaking.

Woodrow Wilson

The ear of the leader must ring with the voices of the people.

Woodrow Wilson

The government, which was designed for the people, has got into the hands of the bosses and their employers, the special interests. An invisible empire has been set up above the forms of democracy.

Woodrow Wilson

Living political constitutions must be Darwinian in structure and in practice. Society is a living organism and must obey the laws of life, not of mechanics; it must develop. All that progressives ask or desire is permission-in an era when 'development,' 'evolution,' is the scientific word-to interpret the Constitution according to the Darwinian principle; all they ask is recognition of the fact that a nation is a living thing and not a machine.

Woodrow Wilson

Big business is not dangerous because it is big, but because its bigness is an unwholesome inflation created by privileges and exemptions which it ought not to enjoy.

Woodrow Wilson

The truth is we are all caught in a great economic system which is heartless.

Woodrow Wilson

Jefferson's Declaration of Independence is a practical document for the use of practical men. It is not a thesis for philosophers, but a whip for tyrants; it is not a theory of government but a program of action.

Woodrow Wilson

To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country's service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations.

Woodrow Wilson

If you will think about what you ought to do for other people, your character will take care of itself. Character is a by-product, and any man who devotes himself to its cultivation in his own case will become a selfish prig.

Woodrow Wilson

Government ought to be all outside and no inside. . . . Everybody knows that corruption thrives in secret places, and avoids public places, and we believe it a fair presumption that secrecy means impropriety.

Woodrow Wilson

The nature of men and of organized society dictates the maintenance in every field of action of the highest and purest standards of justice and of right dealing.... By justice the lawyer generally means the prompt, fair, and open application of impartial rules; but we call ours a Christian civilization, and a Christian conception of justice must be much higher. It must include sympathy and helpfulness and a willingness to forego self-interest in order to promote the welfare, happiness, and contentment of others and of the community as a whole.

Woodrow Wilson

The only thing that saves the world is the little handful of disinterested men that are in it.

Woodrow Wilson

Power consists in one's capacity to link his will with the purpose of others, to lead by reason and a gift of cooperation.

Woodrow Wilson

The whole purpose of democracy is that we may hold counsel with one another, so as not to depend upon the understanding of one man.

Woodrow Wilson

A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is privately concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men who, even if their action be honest and intended for the public interest, are necessarily concentrated upon the great undertakings in which their own money is involved and who necessarily, by very reason of their own limitations, chill and check and destroy genuine economic freedom.

Woodrow Wilson

Has justice ever grown in the soil of absolute power? Has not justice always come from the ... heart and spirit of men who resist power?

Woodrow Wilson

I am a most unhappy man. I accidentally ruined my country. A great industrial nation is now controlled by its system of credit. Our government is no longer based on the freedom of opinion, nor on the conviction and the majority decision, it is now a government which is subjected to the conviction and the compulsion of a small group of dominant men.

Woodrow Wilson

My urgent advice to you would be, not only always to think first of America, but always, also, to think first of humanity. You do not love humanity if you seek to divide humanity into jealous camps. Humanity can be welded together only by love, by sympathy, by justice, not by jealousy and hatred. I am sorry for the man who seeks to make personal capital out of the passions of his fellowmen. He has lost touch with the ideal of America. For America was created to unit mankind...

Woodrow Wilson

There was a time when corporations played a minor part in our business affairs, but now they play the chief part, and most men are the servants of corporations.

O Almighty Lord God, who neither slumberest nor sleepest; Protect and assist, we beseech thee, all those who at home or abroad, by land, by sea, or in the air, are serving this country, that they, being armed with thy defence, may be preserved evermore in all perils; and being filled with wisdom and girded with strength, may do their duty to thy honour and glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
