I only
have one question for you and I'll stop all this petty bickering back & forth.
Why haven't you offered any excuse(s) for John McCains PISS POOR VOTING RECORD on Veterans Issues in Congress? Gimp

Like it or not, a man's war record DOES NOT give him a free pass for the rest of his life.
Also, I am fed up with the name calling. Being a patriot DOES NOT depend on one's support of a particular candidate. Love of country does not include marching in lock step. Funny, but the strength of our system depends on disagreement and the honest listening to another's view. No dissent is a hallmark of totalitarianism where one group defines what is patriotic and what is "treason." |

Gimpy,...
Of course bickering amongst Veterans is unseemly. Still, why even bring the word:
"Bickering" up on this thread? There's none such going on here, and merely your feeble attempt at confusing bickering with TRUE Hate Rhetoric. Obviously Veteran Gimpy believes(?) that words in any way shape or form demeaning his Devout Democrat Ideologic Sect like: "Wartime Undermining Democrat Majority of U.S. Congress", "Democrat/Socialist/Leftists posing as Liberals" & "Lying War Protester before U.S. Congress, 'Rambo' JFKerry"............. MUST AUTOMATICALLY BE CLASSIFIED as: "Hate Speech" and/or some-sort-of Hate Crime. Such just is not so. Such are actually quite accurate descriptions of fanatical: "Democrat Political Supremacists. No more - no less. Whereas, Veteran Neil quite differently or more honestly believes that continually for about 8 years labelling a Wartime Commander-In-Chief: "A LIAR" to The American People, Our Allies and to The World (our enemies inclusive), is what Vile & Vindictive Hate Speech ACTUALLY IS. The about 8 years America's Democrat Undermining got even worse when both Democrat ex-Presidents jumped on The Call President Bush: "A LIAR" Bandwagon. Was first time in American History that ex-Presidents ever acted so despicably and/or favoring Party OVER Country. Truly some sickos...and just like the rest in high places. Whatever, Gimpy's title: "John McCain is FULL OF CRAP" doesn't seem all that very Veteran Friendly either. Some of you Veterans can certainly bicker about that. I certainly won't,...since neither an idiot or word mincer or twistor. Neil

You STILL haven't answered my question????
Why haven't you offered any excuse(s) for John McCains PISS POOR VOTING RECORD on Veterans Issues in Congress? I suppose it's beyond your intellectual abilities to adequately formulate any sort of comprehensible right-wing "excuse" for McCains votinf record, huh? Could it be because...........there IS NO EXCUSE??? Just asking. Gimp

Gimpy,...
Did sort-off answer you question yesterday,...PLUS some debunking.
But apparently got deleted/lost on PF,...which lately becoming quite common. Also noticed another: "Blame Bush for Everything" type thread similar to your style, which got rightfully debunked as most of yours, was TOTALLY deleted. Granted any Posters can delete their posts and all following replies not liked, if so inclined. Regardless, wonder if any others have similarly noticed this new strangeness here? Neil

Hmmmm.. could it be that feared right wing conspiracy? or left wing.
Oh well, maybe it's the Martian conspiracy. Maybe the Conspiracy/Disaster channel(History Channel) will have a program on it. |

Gimpy,
I've gotta agree with you. Our choices for POTUS are VERY bleak, if you're a conservative. (As I am) Even more disheartening is some info I just read on Michelle Malkin's blog. The Texas Republican Committee has labeled all conservatives, who disagree with McCain's nomination, as being "grumpy" and discontented republicans! As if WE'RE responsible for the party's abandonment of conservative principles! It kinda reminds you of Reagan's comment about he didn't abandon his party, his party abandoned HIM! I honestly don't know who I'll vote for this November. I refuse to vote for a racist muslim and McCain's position on the myth of glo-bull warming, immigration amnesty or his adamant refusal to let us use our oil deposits make him impossible to support with my vote. Any TRUE conservative I vote for has no chance. He (or she) isn't of the two monopolizing parties, so doesn't stand ANY chance of getting elected. I fear that VERY dark days are ahead. We have a government that doesn't even PRETEND to represent the People anymore! (Look at the 2 "Shamnesty" votes and the "cap & tax" vote. 65% to 85% of the American public were against them. The polititions STILL tried passing them, wasting THEIR time and OUR tax dollars.) This certainly isn't why I served my country and sacrificed my health. (I'm 100% service connected disabled) I fear a societal revolution is imminent. Our international enemies won't sacrifice the opprotunity to attack us, during the ensuing anarchy. Truely dark days loom ahead! Socialism or revolution. |

Looks like the "server problem" David's been having has once again deleted some posts.
You guys had asked me in one of your posts that got deleted to give you some additional info on John McCains "voting record" in the Senate on "Veterans issues"------Here it is ...AGAIN! (Sorry Neil----your paranoid behavior is once again delt a severe smack in the chops!) Mccains voting record: 2006---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the Disabled American Veterans 20 percent in 2006. 2006---- In 2006 Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America gave Senator McCain a grade of D. 2006---- Senator McCain sponsored or co-sponsored 18 percent of the legislation favored by the The Retired Enlisted Association in 2006. 2005---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the Disabled American Veterans 25 percent in 2005. 2004---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the Disabled American Veterans 50 percent in 2004. 2004---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the The Retired Enlisted Association 0 percent in 2004. 2003---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the The American Legion 50 percent in 2003. 2001---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the Vietnam Veterans of America 46 percent in 2001. 1999---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the Disabled American Veterans 66 percent in 1999. 1997-1998---- Senator McCain supported the interests of the Vietnam Veterans of America 0 percent in 1997-1998. And MORE............... September, 2007, McCain voted against the Webb amendment that would have provided all troops in Iraq have at least as much time home and in training as in theater. (S.Amdt 2909, 2910, 2910; 9/19/2007, 5:30 pm) http://senate.gov/legislative/LIS/ro...n=1&vote=00341 May, 2006, voted against an amendment that would have provided the VA with an additional $20 million for healthcare facilities. (S.Amdt 3704; 5/4/2006, 11:34 am) http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LI...n=2&vote=00111 April, 2006, McCain was one of 13 Republicans to vote against $430 million for VA outpatient care and facilities. (S.Amdt 3642; 4/26/2006, 5:55 pm) April, 2006, McCain was one of 13 Republicans to vote against $430 million for VA outpatient care and facilities. (S.Amdt 3642; 4/26/2006, 5:55 pm) http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LI...n=2&vote=00098 March, 2006, McCain voted against increasing VA medical services funding. (S.Amdt 3007 to S.Con.Res 83; 3/14/2006, 4:22 pm) http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LI...n=2&vote=00041 March, 2004, McCain voted against establishing a VA reserve fund to treat veterans. (S.Amdt 2745 to S.Con.Res 95; 3/10/2004, 9:34 pm) http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LI...n=2&vote=00040 October, 2003, McCain voted to table an amendment by Senator Dodd (D-CN) that called for an additional $322 million in safety equipment for soldiers in Iraq. (S.Amdt. 1817 to S. 1689; 10/2/2003, 7:36 pm) http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LI...n=1&vote=00376 April, 2003, McCain voted to table a senate vote to provide more than $1 billion for National Guard and Reserve equipment in Iraq. (S.Amdt 452 to S. 762; 4/2/2003, 5:35 pm) http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LI...n=1&vote=00116 August, 2001, McCain voted against increasing the amount available for medical care for veterans by $650 million. (S.Amdt. 1218 to S.Amdt. 1214; 8/1/2001, 6:02 pm) http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LI...n=1&vote=00263 So PLEASE........ No one should try to use Senator McCain’s military record, his record of imprisonment in North Vietnam, or his level of “support” for our uniformed fighting men and women in any fashion or way to demonstrate his suitability to be President of the United States. Loosely falling words and bloviation may persuade millions, but his unvarnished Congressional Voting Record cannot be spun. It’s in all there in black and white, and available for any and all to investigate. John McCain just is NOT the fellow being advertised. And if one of your relatives or associates or friends attempts to tell you he is, give that person a copy of this, then tell them to just shut up; .........their ignorance is embarrassing you. Gimp
