A Whole Lot Of Smoke

There is an old saying that goes: “A whole lot of smoke, but no fire!” But then - there is yet another one that I recently heard that I think typifies what has been the mind-set of today’s political generation, it being: “If you don’t like history, then just rewrite it - and rewrite it on occasions, some have I fear?”

There is, unfortunately, no shortage of “Historical Revisionists” these days, and this – worldwide! As a matter of fact, and going back hundreds (if not thousands) of years, the world’s historical records sometimes vary greatly, depending upon who is in power, their actual connection to the event, and sometimes, even what they stand to gain or lose from the real depiction of the historical events!

“Truth, however, can never be altered, nor should it be tampered with!” For no matter how you tweak it, how you attempt to alter it, how you bastardize it, or how you try to screw with it - “TRUTH FOREVER REMAINS TRUTH!”
