“How in the name of Hell did some of these politicians ever get elected to public office, as in my opinion, they are about as effective as busts upon a boar pig?”

Sorry if you find these words offensive, but more offensive than words, are those officials within government who, after being elected to conduct “The People’s Business” become nothing more than expensive desk filler – and worse yet, they know who they are, but their complacency has eventually turned into futility, elected entitlement, and even untouchable arrogance (opinion)!

“CASE IN POINT”

Many years back, one helluva a furor erupted when the truth about “Our Nation’s Rest-Homes” finally came to light. Unfortunately, and in my opinion however, the stench quickly faded from public’s memory and it was back to business as usual – “Out of sight - out of mind, so to speak!”

My point is this: “In my opinion, not much (if anything) has been done to address the conditions within these “Dismal Dying Pens (Rest Homes)”, save for their elevated arrogance and polished public image! An image, again in my opinion, that is still all talk and little bite! So why is it, I ask you, that you defenders of human rights and dignity are not staying on top of the conditions in some of these rest homes, or worse yet, you have become part of the problem?

Lastly, and once again in my opinion: “You bureaucrats have fallen down on the job and I feel that it is the public’s right to know who you are, and when you are up for re-election!!”

And also remember this: “We all grow old” and eventually, we stand before a much higher court – “Count Upon It!” In the meantime however - maybe the people will grow tired of how some of you are treating One Of Our Nation’s Most Prized Assets –

“HER HONORABLE AND REVERED ELDERLY!!”
