“What in The Hell did we ever do before we had our television’s incessant chattering to tell us how to behave, what to buy, and how to think?”

It is my firm opinion that “Republicans and Democrats” alike, are now nothing more than mindsets and titles! And that being one or the other, is now of far more importance to some than just being a good, patriotic, and loyal American –

“And That, At Least In My Opinion, Is Destructively Wrong?”

After all, was not the separation of mere titles and ways of life, what led us into four solid years of Civil War? And granted again, no two people are ever exactly alike in their way of thinking and acting, but we are still “One Nation United”, and don’t you (or anyone else for that matter), ever forget it! And so it is, and so it must forever remain - if we are to continue to survive and thrive!!

So I ask you once again (And With All Due Respect): “What is more important to you – Your Nation or Your Choice of A Political Party?” (Just A Question??)

Before TV their was radio and newspapers of the American and worldly events.
I would also imagine live outdoor rally's before elections.
But here too - big money was working in the background of most
people running for office.

This money came with promises of benefiting the benefactor. Better
known as the payback.

Government has always had a dark side to it. We've been fortunate
of late but in the early days - it good be deadly as a few Presidents
can relate to.

The NATION is primary - of course.

But the leader of the nation made promises to those who backed
him or her. There's a dark side to political folks. Paybacks for
their support. These elections are money makers for many
business folks don't think it isn't. Tax relief or special orders
for military weapons or new ships - there's always somebody
making money shortly after these Presidents take office.

Politics has a dark side - as I have stated earlier.
It's not all for the People - paybacks a bitch as they say.
