Talking Church Tomorrow!

Husband "Dear, I don't want to go to church today."
Wife "Honey, you have to go to church today."
Husband "But all those people think I'm ugly and mean at your church."
Wife "But you have to go to church now get up and get shaved and dressed."
Husband "Give me one good reason to go to church today."
Wife "We've been over this a hundred times, your the pastor."
Husband "Okay, I'll go."

After Service on Sunday my wife and I will do something special.

Monday is our 35th Wedding Anniversary! July 5, 1969
We'll celebrate it a day early.

I'm getting old!

Keith

P.S. I enjoy being a pastor! But I just thought I'd let you all know I'll be in Church on Sunday the 4th of July.

Due to a marvelous plethora of activities yesterday, I didn't get a chance to wish all a Blessed Independence Day yesterday, but here'sthe belated one: keep enjoying, keep celebrating, and keep being thankful, as others have already said, for freedom and peace.

Had a great day yesterday! Pup #2 called from Baghdad, and we had a great chat and connection. Pup #1 and family came over, and withother chillens and gran-chillens, chowed down on smoked porcine arthopeadic support mechanisms, better known as pork ribs, along with all the trimmin's. My bride made the best potato (is that with or without an "e"?) salad ever!!

Later, we all drove over to enjoy the annual rodeo in Wimberley, Texas, a show sponsored by my VFW post as one of our annual fundraisers. Had the distinct honor and privilege of sittingin the VFW box seats, although I only purchased general admissions for my crew. A great day, a great family outing, all enjoyed in our Great Country!! Thanks again to our forefathers, and all who have helped protect and defend us. God bless us one and all!!

The "e" is added only in the presence of Dan Quayle.
