I remember seeing the trailer for Psycho before a Saturday afternoon matinee. Hitchcock was walking through the movie set explaining the premise of the film when he came upon the shower; he threw back the curtain and the screen went to a close up of Janet Leigh screaming. There must've been a couple of hundred kids in that theater and every one of the added to the screaming. I'm just glad I was wearing black pants.

Yeah.
The Hitchcock movies always had suspense and surprises.  I always thought THE BIRDS was a good movie.
