Marines return home to Miramar
11:37 a.m., May 17, 2003 SAN DIEGO ? Family reunions continued today at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, as scores of service personnel came home following service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. About 214 members from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing arrived at the northern San Diego USMC installation about 10:30 a.m., Lt. Carolyn Nelson said. These returning Marines provide air control and support operations for the aircraft wing, Lt. Greg Scott said. The 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing deployed in late January and early February, Scott said. Marine homecomings were scheduled to continue tomorrow at the base with the return of about 75 Marines from the Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352, Nelson said. Sempers, Roger
