China boosts efforts to control Western critical infrastructure, key industries - NATO

BRUSSELS, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Western countries must be careful not to create new dependencies on China as they are weaning off from Russian energy supplies amid Moscow's war on Kyiv, NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg warned on Monday.

"We see growing Chinese efforts to control our critical infrastructure, supply chains and key industrial sectors," he said on a visit to Spain. "We cannot give authoritarian regimes any chance to exploit our vulnerabilities and undermine us."

Personal note: This is what China has done for a long time. They reverse engineer
all our products - designs and materials - making it impossible for US supplier's to
compete and thereby going out of business. These little rascals have been doing
this since the later part of the 1950's to present day. Hence the markets can
not compete and loss of workmanship and sales of former Made In The USA
products are now made in China. They shut down our steel mills why - because
they could make it for less - and ship it to the US - for less money than our steel
mills.

Let's just say - this is what they do and have done for a long time. We are
washboards compared to their people. They got the jobs that our folks lost.
They will take more and more each year. Just look at how many things are
now Made & Sold - both by China & Japan today.

Now our people are out of work and we are dependent on outsiders for our
products. This is no joke! I've seen it and lived during their maneuver's.

We design it - they redesign it make slight alterations and Made in China
or Japan is on every label of materialistic items. US stores by their
products direct - at a lower price - then jack it up for resale to American
citizens. Like I said that put one hell of alot of people out of jobs.

There's nothing made in the US of late that isn't reverse-engineered
at a later made by foreigners'. Car's are mostly foreign in this country.

We did it to ourselves - and they ran with it! What a shame!
