Default Commentary - Iraq For Sale The War Profiteers

COMMENTARY - “IRAQ FOR SALE THE WAR PROFITEERS”

Those of you with a few whiskers are probably familiar with the title “DADDY WARBUCKS!” Granted, the needs of war dictate that those with the power and means to produce needed materials, may also grow rich in the process. This has, unfortunately, been true ever since the first Roman picked up his sword of bronze and went off to meet the barbarians armed with wooden pikes.

As a matter of fact, even the uniforms issued to the Union Army during the Civil War had a tendency to fall to pieces when exposed to harsh weather. And unfortunately, war profiteering is still alive and well even today, which can not be said for many of those subjected to the influence, services, and products of some of those who captured sweetheart deals, via government connections. Those who have been caught making exorbitant bucks at the expense of our people in uniform, have in many cases, gotten away with murder literally! And if I had any doubts about this, a documentary that I just viewed “IRAQ FOR SALE - THE WAR PROFITEERS“, quickly put them to rest!

You are VERY right Rick in your appraisal of the war in Iraq and the greed of the profiteers supplying our forces but did anyone see the 60 Minutes expose' last weekend on what the Iraqi Muslims are doing to Iraqi Christians'? How is it that we allow those people just walk up to any Christian in their neighborhood, pull out their gun and put it to the head of the Christian and pull the trigger? How is it that the reporting group can go into a church that is just finishing its services and the cameraman not be able to find one male in the congregation unless that male is way too old to carry anything but a cane or too young and only be able to drink what momma gives him?
I DO believe that we are in Iraq to give those people the same freedoms and liberties that Americans have but freedom of religion has to be one of those rights, doncha think?

Default Freedom of Religion

Muslim and Freedom of religion is: An Oxymoron.

Muslim at all levels do not practice Freedom of Religion. It's engrained within the framework of Islam that to put down all
other religions is the responsibility of your religion, therefore
in therory it is impossible for Muslims to practice Freedom of
Religion. Most Americans don't comprehend this threat to world
peace that the Muslim religion poses.

The main reason the Union army uniforms fell apart was that the seams were sewn with a rather new invention; the sewing machine. Unfortunately the bobbin had yet to be developed and all that was holding the seams together was a simple chain stitch (pull the thread and it all came out). Until they perfected the machine, they switched to hand-stitching.
