Thanks for all of the great imput people.

In Oct 1966 I was with G 2/5 near Con Thien . There was a fight there that I have thought about for years . One of the guys sent part of a Combat Action Report and it was much differant than I remembered . Thus the query.

We have walked the same ground Beldan. Met a guy last year , from my platoon , who was next to me one day in a big fight...... his is a totally different memory of that day. Con Thien (A-4 , to us Army guys ) was a place of very high pucker factor. Welcome Home.

Yes indeed wehave walked the same ground. I sure hope they updated your tactical maps. When I went back in 1968 the ground had changed a lot with that Trace gouged out .
Was there still NVA arty across the Ben Hai ?
