(A Little Flight of Esoteric Fantasy)

“The Earth Untouched (Protection & Understanding)”: are the key words that must always be kept in mind when gazing up at that portion of “Old Mother Earth (The Moon)” that has long-since slipped its reins and glided free of its progenitor – and then floated out of the reach of its sires here upon ‘Old Terra Firma Itself!’

And such was the destiny of “The Earth’s Moon”, as some cataclysmic force (in times long past), wrenched it free from its terrestrial origin, and started it upon its own journey, deeper, and deeper into that blackened void of outer space! And from there, it careened deeper yet into that virtually untouched bastions of ‘celestial-nothingness’ that mankind could only dream of, prior to the beginnings of the human invasion of the celestial void (space itself)!

But in reality, however, mankind is merely a babe in the cosmic woods – and but a mere child in the eye of the ultimate creator! For we are naught but a ‘Waddling Columbus’ within the deepest recesses of the human mind, and a barely visible wisp of smoke amidst the blistering fires that rage at the very ends of - “Our Limitless Universe Itself!”

And yet - we still, within the limits of our primitive ignorance, dream of far greater conquests, and forever imagine ourselves to be the heirs apparent to all things great and small – “But How Petty We Truly Are!”

For we are really in but the early stages of mortal conception, and our visions of mankind as being “The Reining Gods of The Universe” may be as much of a fantasy of the mind now, as it was when mankind first apotheosized that he and he alone, was at the very center of the universe? “What Foolish Creatures - We Mere Mortals Continue To Be!!”
