How dare any forgetful fool allow the blood of patriotism to be washed away by the callousness and the forgetfulness of time or by of those who have little (or no) respect for those who gave their last full measure of devotion, love and sacrifice for this – Our Nation?
And it makes no difference if our country’s’ true heroes fell at Lexington or any other place of honor, pain and sacrifice, for these were us and we are them! And no American man (or woman) who ever fell in defense of this (Our Beloved Nation) should ever be forgotten or dismissed as just another good story or any other often forgotten vignette within our gallant national history - as these were our brothers, our sisters, our sons and our daughters! And just like those patriots who bled and died in “The Middle East” or those who expired in our defense in places like Lexington and Concord, the Alamo, Bull Run (Manassas), Bella Wood or the Beaches of Normandy, etc., they too must never be forgotten, no more so (in fact), than those who died on the shores, in the swamps, in the rice paddies, or deeply within the jungles of any other conflict – for once again, they are us, and we are them – Forever Americans, one and all! And neither time, age nor even locale, can ever (or will ever), separate the élan, the valor, the dedication, the courage or even the sacrifices, of any ‘American Trooper’ who laid it all on the line for “God, Their Brother in Arms and Country!”

So here they rest, now nestled deeply within “The Protective Arms of The Almighty Himself”, and in the company of their other brothers and sisters who died for God and Country!

Great words HC and well said.

But I bet a lot of them are flipping about the political crap going on
in the US right now. The Democratic system is being torn apart at
its seams. Life - Liberty and the Pursuit of Freedom is our culture
and our Constitution says it all.

Both Dems and Reps have both really thrown a curve ball into our
way of life - and our Liberties. Democracy must be maintained at
all cost. To role over now into a morphed and disturbing political
system is not going to fly - as some folks want to happen.

Our Fore-Father's put their blood - sweat and tears into the verbiage
that defines our Constitution and way of life. The Leadership on both
sides have taken a hard left turn on many issues of the day.

Many have died since our conception to be American's and fly
our Flag. Our citizens deserve better - but of late it seems the
world needs us more than us. This Nation must be first and its
People priority one!

I don't want radical self-serving people running this country.
The People they represent seem to fall short of their needs.
Neglecting our infrastructure is a good example. Weapons
first the people second.

a. Our cost of living in the US today is knocking the hell out of us all right now!
b. Inflation is also out of site. Utilities are way up from where they should be.
c. Personal medical issue's is none of their business.
d. Military weapons are more important than the People.
e. Our political system gets a D- for its wrangling and weakness to lesson our loads.
f. Other world nations get catered to - with our funds - why?
g. Promises made while running for office - fall far short of being implemented.
h. Insurrections of this country are disgraceful and harmful - this must stop.
i. There is no harmony in our Nation - only the big bucks are smiling at their gains.
j. Food prices are skyrocketing and many grocery stores can't get products? Why?

k. This list could go on and on - but fixing those would show you care about us
and SS must not be stopped at all cost! That's what 95% of people today
live on.
l. Medicare should be increased without having to shop for other plans all it
does is make us angry. Those providers should include them without
more paperwork. Universal across the board - period.
m. I'm sure you guys get the best at no cost - because our taxes are paying
for yours. We are always at the bottom of list of things. Upper Management
Rules - citizens come second in those areas of medical needs.
n. Stay out of Medical Woman's Rights - they suffered enough listening to your crap
years and now you want screw them up as well. I've got wife; two daughters
and two grand-girls - and one grandson. They are struggling as well and you
want make changes - why?
o. Heating and gasoline prices are way up again - as is food - and utility bills.

Closing: Uncle Sam you're doing a piss poor job - fix it! The National Debt is
your fault - Big Brother to the world. We should come first always -
otherwise you and others can be replaced as need be - without
insurrections! Voting is our way of tossing out those who do not
appreciate its citizens. Whose having pay us for all those dollars
weapons being sent all around the world - not you - but we get
higher taxation as an end result as usual!

Amen HC - They sit in their governmental padded seats and dictate
but many of them were never in a war. Yet they make the calls.
They leave that to the military to battle in their behalf and suffer
the losses in the process.

How many in Congress have served - how many have ducked the
service?

Those Brother & Sister's who've served deserve the honor's and
respect of their country and more so if they come home wounded
or in a box.

Life I saw so many during Nam. Like my Grandparents - Parents -
Aunts & Uncles; all stepped up and enlisted and did their share while
watching or taking care of the wounded. So many stories have been
told by them to me were so heartbreaking you'd want to cry.

Yet we still send our own to foreign lands all around the globe to
this very day.

They are not forgotten - more so by those who served with them but
they made it back. The least we can do is remember their sacrifices.

America today is not united as it once was. It's being cut to pieces
by the political friction - influence of power - and corruption. And this
comes from the Upper Ranks serving in office. Which include the
President & his Cabinet along with Congress and the whole system
that supports them.

We take for granted that they will fight and die in foreign lands of
which - who could give a crap about our losses - and the families
that will soon bury their offspring.

Where is the Love Of Country attitude? There sure isn't much of
that in Congress of late. The Power's that make the calls have
to be witness to the cost of such commitments - and to those
American souls - sent into foreign service & countries.

Today we battle amongst ourselves internally and it seems to be
getting worse. The spirit of America and it's Democracy seems
to be unstable of late.

Our Fore-Father's should haunt both house's and the President
- and say get your acts (or today your shit) back together!

I'd sure like to see Reagan or Kennedy back in office.
Not Trump or Nixon (two dirt bags types - out for self
gains).
