This article is very long - I didn't want to try to post all the details - Photo's -
and overload this system/program:

I file copied it on my system - as there are so many specifics & details that were
going on at that time; It's a story that is filled with specific ongoing operations in
several areas - in which - many elements were in play - that we never knew until
this was released.

As a history buff this item was interesting and filled in a lot of what had been
in process during this crisis. [Of The Cuban Missile Crisis - it's a must read to
know all the facts - and all that went into these actions - and just how close
WWIII was back then.

I like to dig up facts as most of what our government knows gets buried in
some archive - marked Top Secret. Now more facts have been posted with
many ongoing issues back then that we didn't know - and just how close
we came a WWIII Cuban nuclear war.

Personal note: I recall my Mother freaking out when she
thought the nukes would start falling any day. Schools
were undergoing drills of duck & cover. Yep it was a crazy
couple months - before it was all settled and things got
back to somewhat normality.

I enlisted in May of 63 - when Kennedy was shot.
My Mom was a wreck and then not long after that
it was Nam - that didn't help her either.

I think nine of us signed up and six never made
it back. All friends of mine and school buds!.
I think of them often more so when I talk
about our neighborhood in the 50's/60's.
