Default Thought for the Day

Today, anyone with a political ax to grind can leak classified information in order to undermine an administration with which the person does not agree. The decent thing to do would be to resign in protest, but today's traitors keep their jobs and their paychecks and live to leak another day. They should be hunted down and prosecuted.

Perhaps there is an ax to grind or some NYT, LAT or SF Chron leak bounty money to be collected or a combination of both.
Probably the later is the motivational justification driving the former, but not very relevant. 30 pieces of silver are on the table to be grabbed up, and will be.

As this global war increases in intensity and area, which it is, the leakers may have cause to do a different kind of leaking. Or at least escalate to a higher level of self-justification and self-aggrandizement. When we get splattered again, which is highly probable, just watch for who?ll be pointing the biggest finger of guilt away from themselves, those will be the ones with the silver lined pockets.

And forget 'decent thing to do'. Old hat stuff, this is the age of 'moral relativity', and no such thing as 'decent' anymore.

Default SS

depends on what the stuff is, Keeping the administration in line by leaking stuff to the press is and isn't a bad thing. If its about our security then no, if its outsing some in name only back slap of a job for your wife because some one did someone a faver, (undercover CIA lady) then yes.
How would we know the US goverment can find such perfect hammers as the would coast $600.00.
