Son Is Three Hrs From Home ...Yaahooo !!
Hey gus....
My son Lee is actually going to make it home..... ...every time he would get a leave aproved it would be cancled for a deployment... Lastjune he sent his oldest son up to me... , " dad I'll be home for the fourth... ....then , Hay dad can you bring Devin here to HAAF.... they won't even let me have a few days to come up there to get him?" We had a few hours visit back then... ...this is his first real leave in over 2-1/2 yrs .... ...he'll still have 30+ days in reserve. Well I spit shined his old room...painted the snow white ....now I'm gona get me another cupa coffee....put some irish-cream in it and sit back and wait for him. I hate to part such good company...but this is a day I'm gona do some something different..... ha ha ha Think I'll have a beer with another veteran...later today.....My Son..Yahoooo! ..... That's great news. Is your Son married? Any Kids? Do you have any Grand-kids yet? I've now got two grandkids - A Girl and a Boy.

It is great to see them
I got to see my son (Phillip) this weekend along with girlfriend and her two sons. First time I have gotten to see him in a long time. I hope it is a good time for you, and I know it will be way to short of a visit. Happy times are here again
