“Who in The Name of Merlin” even knows what amazing wonders still lurk deeply within the bosom of “Old Mother Nature?” And just when mankind thinks that he has a handle on the whole damned mess, some lunatic crawls out of the woodwork and introduces a whole new (eminently logical) scenario that we are all forced to contend with!! “Gee, Ain’t Life Grand!?”

Maybe, one of these days, our race of primates will finally come to the realization that we are “NOT” so wondrous after all, and maybe then we can finally begin to really get down to the business at hand –survival itself? I mean, after all, just a few short centuries ago, much of mankind was firmly convinced that the world was as flat as a pancake, that the skies were strictly for the birds, and that mankind was the preeminent species of life upon this infinitely small and insignificant little ball of matter that is careening along at breakneck speeds throughout this shrinking little universe of ours?

Hell, you would think that we would at least get something right once in a while? As a matter of fact, the very next time that you are feeling “All High and Mighty”, I invite you to journey outside in the darkness of night, lift your eyes skyward, and then ponder (for even a brief moment), about all of those other tiny little dots of light that freckle the “Glorious Face of God Infinitum!”

Now - Just how damned untouchable, smart and mighty, do you really feel right about now – “Oh Miniver Cheevy” - or is that “Simon The Magician Perhaps?”
